Position: Internship Programme Participant Location: London, UK Organisation: Westminster Warriors Basketball Club
As a participant in the Westminster Warriors Internship Programme, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in sports management while contributing to the success of our basketball club. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the planning and execution of events, such as games, tournaments, and community outreach initiatives.
- Supporting the marketing team in creating content for social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Conducting research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and fan engagement strategies.
- Providing administrative support to various departments within the organisation, including operations, finance, and sponsorship.
- Engaging with fans and stakeholders to enhance the overall fan experience and foster a sense of community.

Person Specification:
The ideal candidate for the Westminster Warriors Internship Programme will possess the following qualities:

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, fans, and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Availability to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
- Ability to work in the venue or remotely, either in a team environment or independently, depending on the task requirements.
